Leave that note, in a week take the stand down and leave the note that they can come and get it. That way you also know who it is in case a further issue. I once had permission with another guy to hunt a property til season opened. He was renting the house and land which was 40 acres. He said he got the ok from the owner as well. Well the night before opening day the guy calls and the owner changed his mind and took down our stands and dragged them out with a 4 wheeler. He was gonna take them to his house. But i came and got them and no one was around when i got there. The renter said he gave him the ok but guess the guy changed his mind and it was his handyman that took them down. Looks like we were in the handy mans hunting spot.

damn talk about not standing a chance. You could prob crush him like a grape if he wanted to go the physical route and then if he went the legal route you got em again! He knew this was a losing battle all around! lol

it seems there is a decline in ratings and viewership for most all sports. and even sports networks like ESPN. Empty baseball stadiums and the most glaring is the drop of the king - the NFL. Maybe a change in the culture as well

I used to be a Steelers fan for football, Yankees fan for baseball, Celtics fan for basketball....I used to watch a ton of Yankees games, football every sunday and a lot of NBA games thrown in. These days I might catch half a dozen baseball games a year, a couple of NBA playoff games and to halftime of the super bowl. Just dont care for most pro sports anymore. I will still also catch an SU basketball/football game here and there. but have just gotten so i dont care to watch these anymore. Dunno why - its not because players in the NFL take a knee (although I def dont like that ) and it isnt because Derek Jeter died (i know he isnt dead but might as well be - retired and got married ...... the legend died....) I guess i just cant see myself sitting in front of a tv for 3 hours to watch these things. One of the issues is the playoffs are all on later at night and i never get to watch them since i get up at 4am. I got out of football first and a while ago. I also started having a hard time blindly rooting for a team when there were players on it i didnt like at all (Arod). I got so I would root for or follow individuals. Anyone else this same way? I guess it became less important and less of a distraction that i no longer needed. I would much rather spend that time hunting or fishing. And i dont really miss it. Actually I blame Tim Tebow! lol not sure why yet, but thats what im going with.

ok was told by the landowner that rents out land to local farmer, that it is Alfalfa, and the farmer came out with the combine to harvest it but there were so many weeds he made 2 passes and quit. So they will probably till this under at some point, maybe fall or maybe spring. Have a corn field bordering this field and hope they cut that soon and maybe this field will get more action.

My buddy was running the washer with nothing in it before his hunting clothes went in. His wife just rolls her eyes. But yet she is surprised when he then runs the dryer without anything in it. Well cmon. It makes sense.....

Get one. They are just plain fun. I have 6 of them and it's like one of the best parts of hunting season just to see what might be walking thru. Don't need to spend a fortune if you want to try it out. Walmart has a 8mb can for $28. And it works just fine. Not a big investment if ypur starting out to try them. You'll love it.

Finally there's one. Date is wrong on cam this was a week ago. At night but I will take it.

i have some that are 17 and some that are 9. depends on the spot. a couple of stands are more concealed at 9 foot with brush etc and if it was a 17ft stand youd stick out like a sore thumb. Like fletch said go with the background and topography. Each spot is different.

Got an ozone bag for Xmas from GF and been using it a lot this year . Dunno for sure if it makes a difference but it makes me feel better. Lol
