Very cool to use that, a family tradition. My assistant at work collects and reconditions cast iron. He has an electrolysis tub he uses. They come out great.

Venison steak and Utica greens wrap. Bionic should be proud I have veges in them Lol. And I even had a salad to go with it!!!!......potato salad! Haha. It's a vegetable! Greens are so good. The former wife put a huge container of them in my truck while I was turkey hunting. Awesome.

TF nailed it . Great recipes. I usually cook the dark meat in crockpot and make pulled BBQ Turkey sandwiches with it. That comes out good. But it gets cooked with lots of dinosaur garlic honey BBQ sauce. I also like to cut the breast into bites and pound them with a heavy knife, then bread with chicken breader and deep fry. Also comes out great.

Had a big one running to me but think he saw me cause the decoys were between us and he came in on my blind side. Can't hunt again til Sat but gonnna see if we can get him in again. Move a little and put out just a hen and change the call and see if he comes in again. Hunting buddy Ed def got a good one today. 10" beard, 18 lbs, 1 1/4 spurs. Good morning out for sure. We both changed up fields and that was the ticket.

Damn radio silence out here this morn. Never been to this spot before without hearing roost gobbles. Heard a shot at 6 a mile away. And one gobble the same distance in other direction. But dead here this morn.

Didn't catch a lot but a nice afternoon on the lake. Caught a couple of too small eyes and some perch. Wind was squirrelly . East then south then east and before we left south west. But a nice day and a happy pup to get on the lake for first time this year.

Gotta throw in just enough fruits and veggies here and there so I don't get scurvy. Lol A little spinach in the omelette...a cherry in my bourbon.....you know just for health reasons.

Think your right. Heard it twice now a ways over. Not on our land. And hey I resemble that remark! Lol. Except i wait at least 4 minutes. Well the coyotes liked it.

Couldn't go to.favorite spot this morn. My ex BIL is hunting there . That's ok. Went to close spot on land lease .so far had to move from first spot cause 2 coyotes been flanking me all morn.. Saw a deer in this spot at 15 yards. But no gobbles even. Give it an hour or so and might have some breakfast and see what the lake has to offer.

Liars!!! I planned my drinking last night on the weather forecast and it JUST started raining here. Cpuldve had that early morning hunt at my close spot damn that meteorologist. But a late night with GF and a couple beers and a couple sangria's and I wasn't getting up at 4 am this morn. Lol. Tomorrow it's on in my best spot and gonna setup with a Jake on the woods trail on one side and a hen in the field on the other. Good luck everyone

how is turk action in the rain? I usually dont go, but i do have a blind and the itch to go. But i really hate hunting in a blind. Good luck - hoping to see a 24 hour double!
