    i dont think he even cares about that "pro gun conservatives have no place in NY" He will be sure he gets his no matter where the money has to come from. - his helicopter and 4 "emergency" vehicles around the state etc......but as long as his subway in NY is clean the Ecos in NY are doing their job..... it sits next to the minimum age bill and the crossbow legis in the circular file called "conservative" .

    Nice take for sure. That had to be fun. Esp with dogs. Awesome. I was just taking a walk and getting outside would've been happy with one at least. But it was better than those below zero days and not getting out.

    Went yote and rabbit hunting . No yote action And no rabbit til I walked out to truck. Got within 6 feet of this little basterd. Lol. Too close to houses to shoot. Of course. Was nice to be outside at least. Guy I lease from also had his horses out and prob wouldn't appreciate my 22 mag. Shouldve took the pellet gun.

    My dad had a sweet 16 when I was a kid. He had to sell it as he was out of work from a bad car accident for over a year. Sure wish I still had that. Nice collection for sure. And there are worse things to be addicted to.

    My former FIL bought one last year and shot a 6 point two days into crossbow. He just can't pull that bow back at 70 and a bad shoulder. But he is glad to have two weeks at the least. Would be nice for it to be open and more opportunities for youngsters as well.

    Yeah good idea. Just another hobby to dive into. Lol. Need gear for everything. Prob only go for lakers maybe once a year in April. Wanna try to use what ibe already gor. Cause once May hits I live on Oneida lake so I just fish there. Then turkey and then into summer and work on the land lease and then sept want to try early bear and maybe get into some geese this year......etc....etc....and even thinking of a st Lawrence musky weekend..... soooo much to do

    Thanks might have to give it a try. So many damn hobbies. Lol. I can't wait for the pike opener, it's the best when the ice just went off . I have a little 12 ft rowboat with a 4 HP motor too that i take up there. A little 2 seater and we catch some monsters out of it.

    That looks great. And that pine tree would be a great spot for a nice concealed stand. Nothing like being able to plan and work on ypur own land. Even if you don't get a monster buck you'll be stoked to take your first deer there. I always love figuring out new land it's part of the fun. Show us pics once you get the setup done.

    Some nice trout there for sure. I don't have down riggers etc. I do most my fishing on Oneida for walleye and perch and bass. Any good ideas on how to catch lakers with a bass boat? I have thought about some jigging spoons . I do have a lead line trolling rod too.

    Your so right! Only problem is I'm a chicken to be on Ontario. Lol. But might be out earlier on Oneida for some perch. Pending weather. Usually I do a little stream fishing in April, yard work and prep for pike fishing and turkey hunting. Gotta get the little boat ready too for northerns ice out.

    Thinking the plan for tomorrow is to try for a yote on the backside of land and then sit along the trail for a rabbit right before dark on the way out. I don't have an electronic caller but have a mouth rabbit call and will put out a feather on a line and see if I can get a yote out. There are so many there and have a score to settle with them for eating a deer on me last fall.

    Did butter bit no syrup. They were sweet enough with the Apple. Did have one with Apple butter. They were really good.

    I am already getting cabin fever a bit. First sign of winter being over for me is the boat being back in the driveway! I am the last boat in storage, therefore the first one out! Still too far away but making plans already. May pike opener going out for some bruiser northerns and of course the May 1st gobbler season. Knock out the yardwork in April cause May it's on.

    Just dialed in .22 and 22 mag. 22 mag was given to me when my FIL passed everyone got one of his guns. New scopes and dialed in for a hunt. Pending rain might get out later or sun for either rabbit or yotes Nice day to do some plinking though

    Every Sunday was cheese and crackers in front of the tv on the floor to watch wild kingdom. And Dad would say there's a dangerous animal, where is Jim and his big knife. Time for a coffee break Marlin.
