    Ordered some poplar for a hedge row and larch from DEC Saratoga this year. Put about a hundred chestnuts in the fridge to overwinter. Have to get them started soon. At my age I'm planting for my son, probably be dead by the time they bear nuts.

    Nowadays the cooling systems pretty much need to be vacuumed to get air purged. Special tool, takes air out and replaces with coolant.

    I used to have an employee 20 years ago, whose brother lived in the southern tier. He supposedly would jack some big bucks at night and sell them to guys from NYC. I can't believe anyone would release a live bought deer though.

    They have made them in the past with a sabot choke. My LT-20 is a tack driver with 2 3/4 Lightfield slugs out of it. Watch gunbroker or check some LGS. Obviously now is a tough time to buy anything gun related.

    For slugs, neither. Look for a Hastings barrel with a cantilever base if you want accuracy. Mine is extremely accurate with Lightfield slugs. Turkey, I would think a B Square saddle would be good for 50 yds.

    A friend that owns a gun shop said a distributor called today and offered a case of import off brand steel case 9mm for $40 a box of 50. That would make it retail for $60 a box. Glad I don't need any.

    Time to buy some for my pickles then. Get it when you see it. Thinking of canning a deer next year. Parents always butchered and canned a pig when I was a kid .

    Marlin 1895gbl 45-70, new unfired in box. Big loop, brown laminate stocks. Includes Factory case of Hornady 325gr FTX ammo, 10 boxes of 20 rounds. XS "Scout" Scope Rail new in box. Now that Marlin is out of business, it may be the last of these. Who knows what Ruger will do and when. Includes FFL transfer at my FFL. Located near Canandaigua. $2500. for all. Will not separate.

    Another Zodi user here. Have used it in the north woods of Maine and 30 miles out in the Atlantic. Can get two showers from a 5 gallon bucket if you hurry. Propane cylinder lasts good. I can't function at full power without a hot shower and a hot coffee in the morning!

    That's a good way to go. I have a Bushmaster that has a blind magazine well with a riveted magazine in it. Used a Grendel upper on it to shoot my buck this year. Looking at this one for a build I'm doing now. https://www.bulletbutton.com/product-p/ar15ml.htm
