  1. Here, a full moon means activity is more in the cover. Breeding can bust things wide open. Never know when things will pop. Throw in a cold night and all hell breaks loose.
  2. Always go to local town hall. Always have them for my area. Thanks for the reminder.
  3. My 2- I40's Moultries had some kind of software issues on the display. They repaired for free, but it did cost me $30 for shipping. I f these issues arise with L.L.Bean, would they give u a new camera?
  4. Stay in the tree till as long as it takes for deer to exit. U can tell when all the motion stops. Worst part is bumping deer in the food plots. Have good food plots, that's where their be at dark.
  5. Ah, the goggles. What thread was that in again? LOL.
  6. Got a question. Do u think a bow sling would be a locking device? It has 3 snaps that cover the string.
  7. I know my son won't by foot wear any place else. Excellent warranty policy. Not sure how they do it. Hope u have as good of luck with the camera.
  8. Yes and one would think auto insurance companies would also alert drivers to the upcoming. Mine doesn't.
  9. In the clover and wheat. Last pic was a turkey roosting 20 yds. in front of me. On fly down, nearly hit my ladder stand on Oct. 16th.Haven't seen one since. Season opened the 20th here, go figure
  10. Get out today and get one of those big deer on your birthday.
  11. Been a windy one here. Lake effect rain showers through the afternoon to eve, with a little hail thrown in, just to make it nasty. Head cold to complete the day.
  12. We're in the October lull. Deer have even gone off the food plots, nearest I can tell. Their hammering the leaves in the woods big time. Pretty much the norm here. Good luck Eddie.
  13. Congrats. Nice to see a family experience.
  14. And by hunting definition, anytime u disturb or worry wildlife, your hunting. Kinda throws a fly in the ointment doesn't it.
  15. This is another one of those "Gray Areas." I can see a ticket coming for state revenue.
  16. By definition, a person is hunting even if they disturb or worry wildlife whether or not they result in taking. Was told by gun safety coarse instructor as well as ECO's that this is a "Gray Area" If they feel a need to issue a ticket, they will.
  17. Nice purchase. Dicks is always willing to deal. They can make local decisions in the store, which is a plus in my boat. I made some great buys in our local store.
  18. Congrats on your first deer. Show that deer off, full mount indeed.
  19. Those fatty doe. Think their is as much fat as meat on them sometimes. When I pull the cape, and see all that fat; oh man!
  20. We always hang by the neck or antlers. Drains better, and those that butcher themselves know what I'm talking about. Also, sometimes the head will swell, if hung by the hind legs. To each their own.
  21. Would say that 75% of our leaves are already on the ground. Seems early for October 18th. Seems like we've had our share of high winds already this season. Tonight gust front went through dry, but the leaves blew to the next county, LOL. More should be on the ground , so hunting the woods in the morning, Good luck everyone. Wish u deer success.
