  1. My fields have been hammered pretty good this year. Radish acres are almost gone. Knew I should have planted at least 4. Ate all the red clover blossoms off already. Wheat is juxt coming up. All should fair well if we get one uo here.
  2. Built a 34 x 40 twenty years ago; few years later, found out I needed a 34 x 60'. Always build a little extra.
  3. Looks like Sportlover.com is a fan of the Muck Boot brand. I never have had much luck with Muck Boots, I am now trying the DryShod brand slip on boot. Similar look to the Muck, but at a more value minded price. Priced at $108 . Same original owner of the Muck boot; started a new brand,
  4. An animal will eat anything that smells good to them.
  5. Finally, a late season Bow, Muzzleloader hunt option. Hope it goes through!
  6. Bow only season, I like to display orange on the walk in and out times. Never know who might be out there waiting to release an arrow, legally or not. All it takes is once.
  7. I been using a Sabre, maybe 4 1/2 inch folder for quite a long time. It's an inexpensive knife that holds an edge really well. I;ve ground the tip off of so I don't get poked. I have never lost it but, would not feel near as bad as a more expensive one, if I were to. In combination with my Buttout 2 combo; which works really good, I can get the deer aimming towards the sky rather quickly.
  8. A six inch value minded hold saw is tough to find; been drilling mine 6.250.
  9. They sure are fun to build and decorate. They even sell fancy color changing lights for'em. Go Bills!
  10. Would be great for backhoe application. Technically, a front end loader is not design to use for hard digging application , no matter who the manufacture is.
  11. Great Post! Really enjoying the deer - tractor photos. To me, a 4 wheeler is a design failure waiting to happen, given really hard use.
  12. Watched 2 hens and 18 poults cross the road in front of me in the town of Lockport last. I'd say a dang good hatch. It was just like Christmas for me.
  13. Haven't had an issue with USPS., and I use them quite often. Faster, more accurate shipping using Priority Mail verses First Class.
  14. Nice build. The outer egg check will come in handy for quick checks. Any plans for an outdoor yard area?
  15. Turkeys like to scratch. Could be an invitation to come on inn.
  16. The turkeys use to come in to dust themselves in the same field area every year. I t was fun to watch and film. They would be kicking the dirt out; dust would be flying in the air. Having a good old time. Now I can only wish for turkeys eating my seed. Very few here.
  17. I'll mix red clover with other grass seeds which are slightly smaller, when frost seeeding early Spring. The combination works well and I get a nice even mixture throughout the field. I'd like to add a three acre field, of wheat in a few weeks, frost seeding red clover mixture in the Spring.
  18. I find a lot of blends that are full of filler seed the deer don't care for, so I'm a " blend your own guy." Hope these are different. Let us know how they made out.
  19. Uplifting to see deer during Muzzle. It like a whole new start to the season. Food sources are proven to work.
  20. Was expecting to see orange. Yes, hope all is well!
