  1. YIKES!! I thought we were supposed to bury the bodies in the swamp. lol
  2. HA .I like it, maybe I will have to use that in another 13 years.lol.
  3. I just finished reading the second book. Fairly good series..I keep on waiting for something to happen. ..A little too much drama and not enough action (for me)so far... But I have read close to a couple thousand pages now and I am going to read more to see what happens next so it cant be that bad..lol...What channel is the show on?
  4. Ha, I know what you mean ,I own and shoot a few pink guns too. lol
  5. Interesting.......I did not know that. I had originally thought the minimum age was for hunting only, that it did not pertain to a kid shooting with their parent in the back yard.
  6. So am I correct ? An 11 year old cannot even shoot a firearm at a target ?
  7. Yes,I know now.lol. I have fished for another 20 years and have only caught ......at most 10 Lmouth 20" or larger, with the largest being 23".
  8. I still remember in my early days of fishing ,I caught a 28" small mouth in the grass river. I thought I had a musky until I got him closer. It was a shame...Not knowing anything about trophy fish at the time I ate him.No pictures or anything.
  9. Yeap.... and if your friends are like mine , there will not be any help given until pictures are taken and a lot of laughing happens.
  10. Stop looking at your pin. Lol. I have struggled with target panic on and off for years. Sometimes, if it starts to creep up on me ,I will just shoot a bunch of shots real quick without taking time to aim. Some have recommended taking the pins out of the sight for a while. I think every ones TP may be a little different. For me it is when I am trying to force the pin on the target. Concentrating on the pin and then bringing it to the target, instead of lookng at the target and letting the pin go to it. It helps me greatly to concentrate 99% on the target just letting the pin float on the target.
  11. Just remember, when you stand up in most climbers, the upper seat platform usually is not attached to the tree that well any more.Do not get lured into leaning against it with your legs(esp...sideways).Experiment from a few feet off the ground 1st.
  12. I agree with what many have said. If I have good cover I may only climb 15-20 feet. I usually am 25-30' though. Seems to help disperse my scent and make my movements less likely to be seen by a deer(I cannot sit still for the the life of me). Since I have been climbing this high I rarely get busted by a deer. It seems like if I am only 15' off the ground, that just one little switch in the wind and it is game over.I love my summit and API.
  13. Sweet I love going for walkabouts.Kinda muddy right now but the weather is perfect.

Cool !!This is how arguments/debates are supposed to end.Now how about those crossguns lol
  15. It seams like every year I am standing on an iceburg to get to the river. I don't think that will be a problem this year.
  16. May be a little harsh. I am sure "they" have family and kids too . But , that was the 1st name that came to mind .lol
  17. Great article. I think every man or woman that eats meat should kill there food at least once. Anybody against hunting who eats meat is a hypocrite imo.
  18. I would be willing to bet that the # of hunters/trappers vs non hunters/trappers is in favor of the hunters in this town. It shows how well represented we are in our government even on the local level. If the town people do not want hunters/trappers on town land than posting it ,would be the reasonable route.
  19. Here is a good example of local government at work. http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/article/20120311/NEWS05/703119847
  20. I know that jackers haunt the fields around my place too.Shine a light in a field at night and the deer do not turn and look, like they did in the past, they just run for the woods.
