downtown buffalo..90's thats when it was a sportsman show, lot of hunting stuff, no t-shirt vendors, atvs,boats,..hunting and outfitters, seminar speakers were much better than as well it think.

They need to lose the , 10,000 ft of floorspace in front building they give to boat and atvs. Some interesting booths but few and far between... guess. i'm ready to skip the next 10 years of it again. Hasn't been a decent show since early 90's...

well they asked last year to run a cam trap for them and they found them... but i wonder how long or what they are continung to look for...guess i'll have to wait to see one of the guy checking the camera

I have 274 acres in ny..its not nearly big enough to manage anything without decent neighboring property. i am surprised at the number of people that want 30-50 acres in ny and think that is realistic for deer management. i guess i would expand my ny property to a square mile = 640 acres or more if i could introduce elk to it. if not i'd look for 5000 acres out west montana/idaho area.

The thing is i dont really see compounds or crossbows truly out preforming one another. fixed or mechanical broadheads are very close to same recovery. shot distance is aproximatly 20 yards for both. perhaps the evil crossbow isnt so evil...

i like a 3 party panel for selection.. from different areas of the state perhaps east central and western..that way it minimizes the chance of someone knowing the party involved...

Well the dec is back here again with their camera with a fisher camera trap. They got several on cam here last year in 4 weeks. I dont really know why they are back again, havent been able to catch them when they check the camera to ask. Anyone out there have them coonducting a study on their property and know what they are looking for? (population increase? mating? or do they just like trail cam photos??)

i believe its been around for as long as people have been,fist diagnosed in the 60's out west but i'm sure was present before then everywhere. just someone isolated it and now is a disaster.. kind of like low pressure systems than bring cold air down from the artic... now everyone now is a Polar Vortex same systems that have always been(just been mild last few years.... its called nature just because we come up with a new name for something doesnt make it worse....

Yes it is a fisher, from the dec study last year (had a camera here for 4 weeks) My bear is due any day from taxidermist after last minute form change (the one i wanted originally wasnt big enough)
