Metal squeaking on snow or a loud hit on a log or top of rock. ,ruining a 3 hour still hunt is a big problem, like a stand squeaking as you move into position for a shot , just miss stepping and hitting one aluminum frame on another sounds like a going going off.. at least wood on wood may sound like horns hitting or a branch falling hitting another. Noting like a good metallic click to spook everything in the woods.

I have several pair, killed my biggest buck in 3 ft of snow while wearing them , I prefer the wood as it doesnt make metallic sounds in the woods while hunting. I have a pair of green mountain and bear paws just shellac them up with marine varnish and they last forever mine are 20 plus years old now.

Well If guys started gunning them down there would be a lot less..

I would place money that about every bowhunter has broken tihs either in am or pm.. worse rule they have, have to see a beard on a turkey 1/2 hour before sunrise, identify duck species, but you cant tell a deer?? Crazy.

It happens, deer are funny, I have friends that come see little for many sits and then shoot buck of life time. I cant fault outfitter ,only objection is if you wanted bow range deer then he should of provided that. I started doing swap hunts with some friends out midwest, they came here and saw a ton of deer and both connected. But they said we dont have deer numbers you have. Couldnt do it this year with covid but I plan on going for 5 days to Missouri and see it myself. Though I just expect a nice vacation.

Erie county soil and water has chestnuts and crabappes this year, a local nursery in wny is shecktels in springville. But a quick search should show up close if you want larger plants. I've had very good luck with national arbor association trees/shrubs as well and are guaranteed they will not ship early if local weather prevents it.

The problem is their nurserys are down south, though the variety is zone hardy they are not climate acclimated.. look up late varieties and buy.local for best results. A dormant tree shipped from there is ahead of our trees if you cannot keep warm for weeks and take in and ouy side to acclimate it they will mostly likely shock and die. Safe yourself aggravation and buy same variety local and it will do much better

Well simple laws of thermal dynamics seem to go over peoples head.

So the earth's magnetic north pole has been moving rapidly away from the USA. Its magnetic field must of moved as well , this field protects us from the suns radiation. Yet no one talks about it in the terms of global warming or climate change seems the further its shifted the worse the warm up has been... Perhaps because there Is no money to be made on this, seems like the heavy investors in "green" energy are also the ones calling the shots. Add to this the amount of plastic in the oceans acting like a solar cover and global warming can be tossed out of the carbon conversations. Always follow the money.
