    I had a buck chasing a few does last weekend so it is happening now to an extent,he did look like a young one though.

    I like the Rhino 500 and 600,both are very roomy and have good ceiling height.

    I never eat in stand but I always have 2-3 energy vitamin waters and a can of swedish snus in my pack or jacket.

    Midday Hunting

    I'm seeing some midday moving now and usually once Nov hits there is alot,I got my biggest doe last year during muzzloader around 2pm. Mid day I have luck just walking the woods finding them,I have not gotten one from a stand or blind at those times.

    I only have ladders for stands on my property but am going to get a climber next year to move around and check out new areas,I also have 3 blinds.

    I also will not shoot a doe with fawn due to a friend having done it in the past and seeing the fawns not wanting to leave their dead mother, there are plenty of does around here to choose from so no reason to. Just a personal choice.

    I have a friend that buys large amounts of the so called deer corn at tractor supply when it's available because it's cheaper than the other corn,says this time of year he gets alot of looks from other guys when he picks it up,lol. Im not a big fan of guys just dumping a random bag of corn out a few times a season to hunt over but I dont see any difference between guys that feed corn all year round and those that have food plots,both are there for the same end result.

    I'm going out sat for Turkey but if I see a coyote its dead,same goes when I'm out for deer.

    I have a friend by cowelsville that gets at least 2 coyotes during deer season from his stand each year. This year I started seeing alot on my cams trailing behind groups of deer and we are hearing them at night now also. Everytime I go in the woods now I take a 12g or rifle incase I see them,they will eventually get out of control if allowed to. Nobody shot them when we lived in Phoenix and one day I ran outside to find one trying to kill my dog,gotta kill them when the opportunity presents itself.

    9H(east aurora/south wales) Bucks still mostly nocturnal but just today for 1st time saw a buck actively chasing some does around 8:30am,does not interested at all yet.

    4 does came through a bit ago with a 6pt on their trail but they wanted nothing to do with him yet,he gave up and started making some rubs but was 50yrds away. No shot but cool to watch.

    That's what I'm seeing also,one day I'm getting pics right at sunrise or sunset then other days its 1:00pm,always at night though,lol.

    My 1st bow kill tonight,25yrd shot and she ran about 50yrds. She jumped so the shot wasn't perfect but the wound was massive so the trail was easy to follow,gave her a couple hours and there she lay,my 4yr old daughter is dying for jerky now,lol.

    Same here,I have a ton of does and a few good bucks on my cams so hoping when it starts its good.

    To young for the shot but I do remember opening some of those tins camping as a kid,and flinging powder all over the picnic table.

    I'm off today and let the kids sleep in so I'll be heading out around 2,still a light rain and pretty windy here so I'm in no rush after the rain from last weekend.

    This past summer I emailed them a question and it took about 2 weeks I believe to get a answer,when I got the answer I had actually forgotten I even asked them it was so long. I like their xbows but customer service is really bad.

    I use triple7 pellets in my cva and really like them,no issues and cleanup is easy.

    I was at my son's little loop football practice tonight and about 6:45 they started biting something fierce,coming from fl skeeters dont bother me much usually but tonight they were riduculous.

    Im done until friday morning after I get the kids dropped off at daycare and school. I was going to call in a day but after seeing the temps I figured forget it and wait till Friday when it cools down,I do hvac so with it being warm it's easy money for me the next few days.

    I use kerosene in my shop but have seen those propane ones in a few houses and they work good,like mentioned though you want to size them correctly.
