I have 2 browning silvers . Heavey bastards. As far as gun safes I like them . Really liked the liberty safes until my BIL got one . He beat the hell out of a wood stock dragging gun in and out . There is a raised lip on the floor .

I was supposed to ice fish this morning . On the road at 430 am . 15 miles down the road and my fishing partner texts me he is not going to make it . Now he has all the bait at his place including my 2 buckets and 30 bucks in minows and waxies. 35 miles away . Said screw it and went back home . Probably last hurrah down this way . Temps in the 50s mid week .

I guess it could be a little personal he kept it well covered ... almost like he was hiding it ... lol

A great man ... I will miss his show . I learned alot about politics and the games people play . While I didn't always agree with him he was right more than he was wrong . The man made you think .. Listened to his wife give the announcement of his death on his radio show. Very eloquent and heart felt . My condolences to his family . He will be a sorely missed voice of thought provoking reason in my life.

Back when I was a teenager we shot a deer on a party permit. Froze it that way and propped it up in my great uncles front yard . Gramps funny sense of humor. Great uncle was out of work and still wouldn't go hunting . Family needed the meat.

I don't know what the legality of it is . I bought my property with the mineral rights . Exploratory rights were given back in 70s. The expired in 10 years if no improvement was made . Such as roads.... landings or buildings . If improvements were made they had rights to extend the lease. Had to get Shell to sign off on it . That said I wouldn't buy a piece unless you could protect your rights . My BIL had gas line company come in to work on stream crossing during bow season . Nothing he could do as his father sold the easement many years ago . Just something to think about.

There's nothing out there that makes my palm sweat. Heart race... 2000 bucks won't buy me the left handed 1911 I think I would want . Perhaps I could find a good used lever gun in 444.

Literally just got off the phone with a guy looking to unload a couple revolvers. Can't find ammo for them and hasn't shot them in over a year . Shame its not something I find interesting.

Game is almost as bad as the half time show .

I have a few side by sides. None are for sale . My beater gun is a stoeger coachman 20 guage fixed chokes . Improved/modified. Double triggers. Bought cheap many years ago . Its my bunny/grouse gun. I have better guns .. much more expensive. That old stoeger is my go too. They can be had cheap...They are nothing to brag on . Doesnt hurt much to get a scratch or ding. Stoeger makes the uplander which fits the bill of your request . They come in at $500 or so .

I see Chemung county recieved a whopping 200 doses this week . At this rate perhaps I will be able to double it up with my fall flue shot .

Tv today sucks . It might be the times wearing on us but the misses and I have taken to watching the Waltons..old westerns older sitcoms from back in the 60s ,70s and 80s .

First of all my hats off to you guys that live in the snow belts. We got a little more than a foot of snow over 3 days . I cleared snow first day. Had a few drifts a foot or so deep . Yesterday same thing. Cleard them before work. Worked a double. Got home and had a foot of snow in the drive. Drove through it parked truck in garage. This morning I wake up to multiple drifts in the 4 to 5 foot range. Took me an hour with snow blower to get to barn with the tractor. 4 more hours to clear drive way 2 neighbors drive . Im whipped. My yard looks like ski mogles . Almost makes me want to sell out and move south. Almost.
