    I concur ... the deer herd has diminished significantly in the 3H area that I hunt. Out of a 1000 acres of land between friends and hunting camps that I know, a couple of wall hangers were taken, but the sightings, even on the cameras, were way down. Mind you, we do not shoot many deer annually, but we are seeing less each year. I don’t get it ... do we have a coyote problem? a poaching problem? EHD? Perhaps it is a combination of these issues? Nonetheless, I hope hunting improves in 2021.

    Perhaps old bushnells are of better quality but my experience is that they are garbage. Every single product, 100%, were problematic for me. I wish you luck [emoji256]

    Beautiful piece. What scope do you have on it? If it’s a bushnell or bausch make sure you change it out. You need a half way decent scope to manage the recoil. Good luck wit it [emoji256]

    I would refer to the buck as either an “eight point buck” or an “eight pointer” ... but I haven’t seen a shooter yet this season.

    A nippy 19-degrees here in 3H with zero wind and zero deer movement thus far.

    Unfortunately, this is the worst year in deer sightings in my 30+ years of experience during this time of the year. Im hunting with my cousin and friend in 3H since Saturday and a spike buck is the only buck seen. A couple nice bucks on the trailcams but all pics are at night. However, i shot a lonesome doe two nights ago.
