  1. My son and his partner did the design build. They glass slides open to shoot up I think he said. Might have to rent this out in the off-season he’s making it so nice
  2. Some new windows today hopefully we can get them put in today as well
  3. Rain heavy in southern tier now should be a good boost to the plots and what you planted. Looks like it’s headed this way my plots need rain. If we have luck hope killing frost holds off til November
  4. Mostly because the Yankees swept them away though not sure it will happen this year

  7. Jerry can’t moonwalk but he can shartwalk with the best of them. Too funny
  8. Nice hunting blind. Add a mr buddy heater and you can sit all day once you get the roof done. Keep posting updates want to see final product including A pic with the blind in the background with you in front with a big shooter you harvested from the shipping crate blind. Good hunting
  9. No generator noise or smell. Solar power sounds good but its like 175yds from my house and I have power at my pole barn that like 120yds from it. So maybe bring it one day above or below ground If I do that I would run cable too. I hope my son and grandkids enjoy for years to come.
  10. @SportsmanNH yup all the creature comforts ha. My son owns his own construction company and told me he was going to do some siding and windows I got home to find insulation Wiring. I think he knows it’s going to be his one day so I really can’t complain I think it would be nice to have heat and electric at some point considering I said up there in a ground blind for 5 years before we put the building up. I told my son after I saw this that we might as well finish the bottom at some point with some beds and kitchen area. Stay in the bottom hunt in the top won’t have to leave for the whole season we can FaceTime with the wives if they like but they’re not allowed out there.
  11. Little insulation and wiring in some outlets yesterday. Next week siding windows and floor and ceiling That should do it for this year.
  12. Sorry to hear about your parents my condolences No doubt they were great folks. RIP
  13. Nice mature buck great mount to boot
  14. Campfire nite. Burning up some olde dead pine and it’s a crackling good
  15. I own 48 acres and it’s right out my backdoor. I have another 80 acres that is also family farm but really haven’t hunted it much in past 5 yrs. I have several clients that have offered permission to hunt their properties and occasionally I do. But for the most part 95% of the time I hunt my own. Pretty good habitat mix of field and woods part Used to be an old Christmas tree farm and part of it was in abandon dairy farm. Small creek runs through it soil is really good and neighbors are not big Deerhunters only a few and picky like me. I have a couple different bedding sanctuary areas plenty of food and light to moderate pressure. I call it the zoo
  16. I put this blind in 2 days ago went out this morning to brush it in and pulled card and the deer already seem good with it.
