I have a bobcat mounted that weighed in at 48lbs. SO yes they do get that big. And generally they loose their spotts when they reach 25-30lbs almost every big bobcat I have seen has been brown.

Mountain Lion? Please tell me you are all joking. A simple google search for the uneducated would show that Mt. Lions have long tails. This cat does not.

Bobcats can get pretty big. My Dad got one 38lbs in Maine, and I know guys in Minnesota who get some over 40lb every single year.

Ever have your pic taken with IR in camo? You cant see the camo pattern at all.

according to the DEC there are no Mtn. Lions in New York..... but i dont believe everything that comes out of peoples mouths either.

but a closer look at the ears you can see the black ring and pointed look from the long hairs at the tip of its ears making it a bobcat, incase the first pic without a tail wasnt enough.

probably easier to measure the length of the logs & try to compare but I am pretty sure you will find that it is a bobcat
