F-150
I have a older trailcam that takes 35mm film, and can you get film for it ,plus get them developed ?
Carbonelement
i am sure you could but it is a never ending money pit, in the big picture it may be more cost efficient to buy a new cam and an SD card. I looked on Amazon and they have plenty. Check it out and see if its what you are looking for.
F-150
Ihve a digital trail cam , but the 35mm takes alot better pics, the bad part maybe I get one of every twenty four pics that might be worth keeping.
Lawdwaz
You couldn't give me ANY 35mm camera. I don't care what it is, Leica, Hasselblad or EVEN a Kodak! Really, you should look into a digital trail camera. Some of the higher end ones take wonderful pics. And anyways, what do you really want to print pics of anyway? Doc
It looks like Walgreens has sales and processing for film. A quick search on Google ("35 millimeter filmprocessing") gives all kinds of sources for buying fim as well as getting it purchased. I too would recommend switching to all digital, but that isn't what you asked.

fasteddie
I have a 35mm trail cam that I havn't used in years . I used to get ticked when I would get a roll of film developed and only have a couple of good pics . It doesn't matter with a digital camera . covert
Yes it is available but getting tougher to find. Yes you can get it developed but also getting more expensive and less common. I think that 35mm will take better pictures than some of the older/cheaper digitals but the ones with higher pixel counts are sharper. The older Moultrie I have with a white flash makes the eyes look like softballs from the reflection on them and I don't really care for that. I didn't realize that there ever were any "film" cameras used as trail-cams. I would assume that they were all daylight only cams ...... right? phade
I didn't realize that there ever were any "film" cameras used as trail-cams. I would assume that they were all daylight only cams ...... right? No...cams like Stealth had a cheap integrated cam. High end units, like a photo hunter, had an actual camera in it, similar to a home brew nowaday. The flash came from the actual camera. I have books and books of photos from my photo hunters. Back then I was just excited to get a buck on film...looking back I've got quite a few 120-130 class bucks, and just didn't know how to hunt them then. Here is a photo hunter..went for about $250-300 back in the day. I giggled like a school girl when checking the two I had. People were in amazement such things existed. I actually had to start driving to other towns to have my film developed. Stupid clerks at the photo booth would see them and blab and everyone knew I had a good buck or two. I would assume that they were all daylight only cams ...... right? I had one of the cheap Stealth 35mm with a white flash. That thing ran for five years and in that time it didn't spend one single night in the house. Someone gave it to me for Christmas, I hung it on 12/26 and never brought it back inside. After all that time it finally gave up the ghost but I got albums full of pictures out of it.

Well, that was a dumb comment ..... lol. Of course they have had flash capability. Just a slight brain-fart. It happens occasionally if you get old enough .... ha-ha-ha. Cabin Fever
I remember the origional Camtrakkers were 35mm. They went for $400!! I wanted one soooo bad, but just couldn't justify the $$! Ended up learning how to build 35mm homebrews for ~$120. Made several for myself and friends. That was back in the day when we had a LOT of turkeys in my area. I remember on several occasions, having a flock of turkeys walk by, blowing through an ENTIRE roll of film within minutes!!! LOL Thankfully, the place where I always had the film developed had a policy, so that you only paid for the pics that you wanted to keep!
