Probably just a little fishing and a little food plot work & mowing... I have too much to do around the house and I have an old car Im working on. I'll start getting antsy around Sept. & start clearing  spots out and looking around..

As much as I enjoy fishing, I had to willingly give it up (other than a recreational morning a handful of times a year) to be able to meet my goals when deer hunting. There' always deer hunting related work to do.

What kind of cams/price range you looking at?

I fish as much as I can get away with... June through September I try to get my boat on the lake at least once a week and I often fish the river ( early mornings) a couple times a week.

River fishing is for smallies and walleyes, and fishing several of the Finger lakes is for smallies, perch, panfish, northerns and lake trout.

The rest of the time The Mermaid keeps me busy..We have a large lawn at our home in town and we have 100 acres a couple miles outside of town with a 1 acre pond and about 5 acres of mowing/landscaping..

Now and then I sneak off to my local American Legion Post and knock back a couple of cold ones with my "old fart" retired buddies.

Honestly...cheap. the property i want to use them on has alot of poacher/trespassers. Its posted up real good but as we all know poachers cant read. Basically even some 35mm cams would work. Hoping to catch deer on them but maybe even a poacher if im lucky

35mm? Sheesh. Have fun with that.

Better off buy good cheap cams and mounting them high...like a Covert MP6 or maybe the Spypoint G4. The covert is pretty small and when mounted high...most people flat out miss it.

Love to buy some decent ones....just cant see throwing money away when someone steals them. This season since my fiance got her hunting license we are basically the Only ones that hunt there , and two other fellows who are so rude and think they own the property. They put a treestand up and got mad when i said i was planting a plot somewhere else on the property. They told me they improved the deer population by putting a stand up lol.

Biggest concern is poachers and trespassers at this point.

Heavy duty lock box lag bolted or chained to the tree

film and development? Limiting pics to 36 count?

Might be better to save money and not get a cam at all.

Yup setting out the cams, shooting the bow, prepping for archery season BBQing & drinking adult Bev's

one other thing I'll be doing is spending the next 2 or 3 weeks trying to get my pool up and running so my wife and kids can use it twice, then I close it back up. I spent a few hours on it yesterday and got nowhere. Every time I turn on the filter motor it pops the breaker. What a freaking pain in the A$$.   $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I thought about buying a pool but instead I bought a house 20 years ago in a pool community. I pay $400 for the season from Memorial day through Labor Day and we can use it anytime from 12:00PM until 8:00PM. I got my money's worth over the last 20 years.  B)

I'm getting back into K9 trapping this year. So I'll be prepping my equipment, making bait/lure, Etc.

I'll hit the river often for muskies and bass. Also can't wait for those delicious mushrooms to start popping up in the woods and it gives me extra time for scouting new areas for bow season.

I'll probably clip about 36 Billion blades of grass too.lol
