HectorBuckBuster
So I was over on my property yesterday cutting wood and nature called walked into a hedgerow and noticed poison ivy every wheres so moves about 20 feet, and went about my business when I noticed a strange smell, and noticed the grass in this area was only a couple inches high compared to all the other grass, so I looked around and that's when I seen 4 pot plants. JimR
If it's on your land do as you please. Reporting it to the police seems like the right thing to do.
Arrow Flinger
We found some up right behind the radio tower on Searsburg Road one year while scouting around. Figured it was probably the Forest Ranger Mobbs stash so we left it alone
ants
About 5-7 years ago I was jogging down a seasonal road in a wooded area that was not really huntable because of nearby houses.(Bow hunting maybe). I found six big plants just off the road, maybe 30 yards. They were all planted in white 5 gallon buckets, easy to spot. I went back the next day and they were gone. I found a pair of pruning shears, which took and three full cans of Labatt Blue, which I left. Damn kids....
Pygmy
If they were trespassing on my property, I might contact the authorities... If it were someplace else, I'd mind my own business.
HectorBuckBuster
Well finally heard from the Sheriffs Dept and told me what to do. Its funny someone said the Tower on Searsburg Rd, as I drive by that almost every night, and always see a car parked in that area around dark. cdmckane
I found a grow on my property shortly after I bought it three years ago. The previous owners got foreclosed on and had obviously forgot about it. It's not like I could ignore it, I was scouting it for the upcoming deer season with a buddy of mine who's an ECO. HectorBuckBuster
Well since they where short on trail cams, I put one of mine up on that area for them. They stated they where out of trail cams at this time, and don't worry about it for about 2 weeks as the birds in the sky will be going up soon. I would have just pulled them and not worried about it, but more interested to find out who is trespassing now, as last Jan we had around $3000 in goose hunting stuff get ripped off, but in a small town word traveled fast and we located it all the stolen items. I am going to walk all my hedgerows this weekend and wooded area's and see if there is more.
