Culvercreek hunt club
Wandered in to find WNYBuckHunter deep into a jack light practice session...lol Pic taken about 5 minutes before he raised a golf ball sized blood blister on his forearm from some string rash. sits in trees
Its always best to practice in the environment you will be hunting in. If you hunt at night with the aid of floodlights then practice at night with the aid of floodlights, ...lol

Culvercreek hunt club
The funniest part was the second, third and fourth times he got slapped by the string that night..LMAO!! I might not have hung it up after the first time but I sure would have after the second. WNYBuckHunter
Hey I was having a bad night, what can I say? I think the last few times I was getting smacked because the time that really got me, made my arm swell up so bad, the string kept tagging it after that. In my defense, I was trying a new hold on my bow hand. See how my fingers are kinda goofy on there? That grip had me all goofed up and the arm slapping stopped when I went back to my normal open hand style.

So instead I was preparing to fish with Pygmy on the Mighty Keuka Lake! Sharpening hooks, res-pooling spools, greasing guides & ball bearings. (not really) All I had to do was bring a rod & reel, some sammy's he didn't like and a few beers. Then show up on time.........grins
WhitetailAddict11
No no, you're doing it all wrong!! If you want to practice like you hunt you need to aim the head lights of the pick-up into the yard!
