Where i'm at in Chenango County they are calling for a 20 degree temp down from 60 and hi winds of Friday am to low 40s and slight wind on Sunday.

Wind will hopefully be manageable by Friday afternoon.

Figures, my company is moving to new facilities this weekend.  Have to have everyone's computer equipment re-assembled and operational by 9:00 am Monday.

Moving starts tomorrow afternoon.

Good luck to everyone else out there.  Just save a couple for me - doe or buck for next week???

Between the cold front rolling through, things heating up, and the moon being up all day, Sunday looks like the Deervana out of legend.  Get out in the woods if you can, and good luck to all!

I'm super duper sad that I have to work 8:30-4:30 on Sunday.  I'll be looking out the window daydreaming a lot I'm sure.  With the time change I won't even be able to get out for the last hour BUT I do get to hunt Monday morning and it looks like it's going to be a crisp one out there.  The hunting should really start getting good now.  I'm pumped!

What should have been a great day was the slowest one I have seen all season.  The woods were very quiet where I was in the Finger Lakes.  I had a feeling it was going to be a slow morning when all the other animals were not out moving around (birds and squirrels).  Wind was still >10 mph so maybe they were still holding tight until it calmed down.
