Crossbows in NY!!!

So crossbows are going to cause a decrease in hunters? That's a new one.

Then what are you worried about?

Does everyone have a reading comprehension problem? I'd say it slow so you could understand but this is the internet.....so read slowly. My original point was that allowing Crossbows will not recruit NEW hunters to deer hunting and the license sales numbers in Michigan and PA support that. Just because Michigan sold 450K Crossbow licenses doesn't mean anything. The total hunting license sales were still down. That means most of the X bow hunters were already buying a license anyhow. It didn't bring in any noticeable difference in NEW hunters. This is, was and always will be my point here. I don't know why everyone wants to argue the facts with me and twist everything I say all around.....but I guess that's what you guys do around here when someone proves you wrong! Now , continue to bash me....I find it amusing

My internet tough guy has more to do with the type of intimidation attempted to get a point across.  But 4s as I recall you are pretty good at that too.  All it does is make you look like a fool.  As far as over 6 ft and 300 pounds is the same method.  That does not intimidate me either.  Now as far as reading the thread yes I did.  a=As far as thinking arrow flinger is da man on this umm nope. .  I am a recurve guy and will stay that way.  Sour grapes because you lost this one is kind of foolish.  In a couple words grow up.

I'm not trying to intimidate anyone Bubba. I'm simply telling Wooly off because I'm sick of him commenting on all my posts and insulting me. He thinks he's something special........he's special alright!

Personally I'm indifferent on the Xbow issue. I think that our archery season is long enough that I'd be okay with giving up the last week or two of bow season to allow Xbow use. I also would like to use a Xbow during ML season. I wouldn't like though for xbows to be allowed during the whole archery season. Just my thoughts.

I introduce them to real Archery!

I applaud you for getting youngsters into hunting with traditional equipment (longbow and wooden arrows). I have nothing against crossbows and compounds, but its' nice to see that you're introducing them to real archery. Good job!

How are you giving up a week or two?  You can still hunt.  I love how everyone thinks the wood swill be flooded with no pun intended bubbas running around the wood shooting at everything and not being as ethical as the mighty compound hunters.  I remember the very sane arguments against the compounds when they were made legal,as well as  the inlines and scopes.  Now those who were allowed in want to run the show.  You were added by us traditional guys.  now buck up and move on.

deer hunting has become an extremely selfish sport, and if you ask me that's really the root of all these arguments against anything new being introduced into it...........

True... Most hunters are more worried about someone else killing "their" deer instead of concentrating on hunting and killing it themselves. To be so worried about crossbow hunters that you would not hunt for two weeks of bow hunting because they'd be in the woods is ridiculous. Like biting off your nose to spit your face. All this stuff is going to be a distant memory without a hitch before you know it... just like with the intro of the compound... this is just like it was then.

You really haven't done a very good job at convincing anyone here on anything from your stubborn stance, to my size, to the vicious way I "attacked your beastly azz",lol.

Apparently my mini stature(I can't deny that) has touched a nerve with you, and in some way, shape, or form, I've posed a viable threat to your masculinity.

Sorry I may have hit a little too close to home for you.

Not bad though for a little 'pip squeak' like me to get under your Twinkie eatin' skin, eh?

You're coming across as the same selfish "bowhunter" that was recently discussed in another post. Thanks for proving that original poster to be right on top of things as far as bowhunter personalities and stereotypes go. I for one, as I'm sure many others, are embarassed to even have you associated with us by the way you conduct yourself.

It's no wonder guys have such a hard time securing hunting rights with bull headed fellas like you amongst our ranks!

You guys all keep on going with the insults and I'm the one who's insulting everyone....its called defending myself. And if any of you internet tough guys had the balls to talk to my face like this you'd get KFO!

I love when guys use the phrase "internet tough guy" then invite you to come kick their ass for real... tells you everything you need to know about the guy. Some of those guys might want to be careful what they wish for... just sayin'.

I'm really starting to think there a reading comprehension problem on this forum. What I said was that he wouldn't have the balls to be rude and insulting to my face. How is that inviting him to come kick my ass? You better go take your Alzheimers medication old man. And now you're gonna come kick my ass? LMAO!!
