rotorooter23
Hey Guys, Just wondering what kind of set up you are running with arrow length, draw weight #, draw length, and spine deflection? Curious to see the combo's and with my understanding you can run a stiffer shaft with a heavier field point/ BH and or vice versa due to the Archers Paradox. I am currently at a 29 in draw, 70# draw, 28 in arrow using a .400 spine. Due to my new bow having aggressive cams, I will need to switch to a stiffer shaft so I have ordered some 340's. Trial153
Your under spined ...bumping to 340 will work of your using 100 heads... If your shooting 125 or heavier then you better off with .300
Hock3y24
27.5 draw 27 inch arrows 125 gr head 65 lb draw .400 spine works good for me
phade
You should have been at 340 to begin with.

moog5050
Either 340-350 with 100g heads or 300 with 125g heads should work for you. I prefer to error on the side of stiffer arrows. I will bet that even 300 with 100g will fly well out of your bow if the bow is tuned well.
rotorooter23
Yes, just had it fine tuned and when I shoot now I get a little fishtail action. switching to 340 with 100 grain tip. I could get away with a 28 in arrow at 28.5 draw
SteveB
Length of arrow makes far more difference in dynamic spine than point weight does.
biggamefish
SteveB is right you can have heavy or light heads and change the spine dramatically to fly with your weight of choice in heads by leaving your arrow longer or cutting it down. My set up, 50# @ 29" Striker Fastback Draw 291/2" Trad. gold tips 32" 265grns up front total arrow weight 630grns

dbHunterNY
hunting bow: 29", .340 spine, arrow. 100gr head 29" draw length 67lbs 3D/back up hunting bow: 27-1/4", .400 spine, arrow 100gr head 29" draw length 61 pounds definitely use a good arrow chart like Easton has and figure in all the corrections.
