 Keep in mind, I'm value minded. With that being said; be a cold day in hell I'd ever pay $32 for a pair of socks, not matter what they do.  My Dryshod boots seem to do the trick. Keeping my feet from sweating helps.

I use Wiggwam and the heavy Smartwool for hunting. Very pleased with their performance.

Both around $25 to 30 a pair. But well worth it.

When it comes to warm socks I have found as long as they are made of mostly wool my feet will stay warm in good boots. About 10 years ago I found a closeout on Browning Wool socks and I bought a pile of them for a song, they are some of the best I have ever worn. Still wearing them today.

I have been generally satisfied with good wool socks and a non-cotton liner. A few years ago my sister gave me some alpaca boot socks. These are very comfy and warm.

It doesn’t seem to matter what socks I wear in my Mickey Mouse boots.  My feet stay warm in them in below zero temps, even in light cotton socks.  I usually go with a medium weight wool blend on colder days though.

I hunt with a high calf rubber boot, medium wool sock over a regular Nike dri-fit sock inside. No issues. Covers 90% of my deer hunting time.

Ok. But who remembers the electric socks form back in the day that ran on D batteries? I bought a pair 25yrs ago for my #1 hunting buddy that always had cold feet.

And here's where the hunting humor kicks in . . . 

Couple yrs ago my gf buys me electric socks and an electric vest. I didn't ask for them but she was a gem. Charge up these USB batteries, tuck them in and go. The vest is nice. 5 settings. Push the button on the collar. 

Last year opening day I'm sitting there thinking I need to get these socks running. Brutal cold. I reach down to click the button on the socks and there isn't one. No go. You need a frickin' app on your phone to run the socks. I mean you can adjust the temp on either sock individually. Crazy. I went home w cold feet smh. Times change.

I have tried different socks , toe warmers , heated insoles and socks . Nothing keeps my feet warm . I have neuropathy and my feet are ALWAYS cold . I am sitting in a warm house and quite warm except my toes are cold . Nothing works .
