Timing Off On Site Or Phones?

Just wondering. If you look at the attached pics wou will see some time discrepancies.

What are you comparing the times to and why do you think they are wrong?

The National Weater Service, sunrise times for New York State.

Ever since my Journal was flogged due to a typo, I have been looking at the time other member post for being in the woods.

 

 Image 1, Sunrise for Binghamton, NY, was at 7:23 AM. So, if the time was right on the post from my first image, then that was way before sunrise for that zone.

 

On the 3'rd image, that's HUGE! The post was made at 5:53, but for Phoenix, NY, sunrise was 7:26 AM. Then, in the "Quote", it says it was posted at 6:53. Something not right there.

Like I was told, a minute means everything.

I think it has more to do with user settings than anything, make sure youre set to EST in your settings for your profile.

Mine is fine, always has been, across many devices.

I just checked the original posts and the times there don't match the times in the pictures.  Looks like the screen shot picture times were off by an hour.  Maybe it was in daylight savings mode this morning?

I look at them and they are 1 min apart. Check your time zone setting

I just checked my Settings its set for eastern us/Canada

Everything I see is 5 hrs ahead! Nobody ever said anything about adjusting my 'settings'. lol

I can tune a guitar or a chainsaw, (somewhat similar btw), but this is going to open a new world for me!! I will never eat dinner at 1PM again!

 

Fixed it. I was on Casablanca time (GMT).

If that sultry gal with the husky voice doesn't come back soon I'll probably just switch the settings back though.
