saw unbroken, was good but mom and aunt had to cover faces when torture senes were on. thhe interview was good lots of crude humor, into the woods long...but good story line, the hobbit battle of 5 armys ..dissapointing if you've read the book(and confusing if you didnt see first two) mocking jay is good but again need to see first 2 movies... fury is good if you can find it still up at theatre

Neither of these will fit your "violent" criteria but the wife and I stayed home the other night (after ditching the kids at my sister's) and watched  "Djndango" on Netflicks.   It was very good.  Apparently it won a couple Oscars and my wife is a big Oscar fan.  Oscar night to her is like opening day of deer season to me.    I wanted to go see "American Sniper" at the theater but it wasn't there yet.   That was a very good book anyhow, and I can't wait to see the movie.    I considered "Unbroken" for a little bit and may still hit that one, but probably not until it comes out on video.

The was the last movie we saw!  I think its called "Django Unchained" and yes, it was an excellent flick.  A little violent and it got a little phony at the end.

 

Overall I'd give it 8.5 rounds in a 10 round magazine.  (NYSAFE Compliant of course.....)

Im to cheap for movies at the regal im a huge fan of the theatre in Cheektowaga can't beat the entire package for $7.

Tomorrow night im gonna have to give that django unchained a try.

Good luck law I would go see gone girl maybe you will both enjoy it if not you can eat your pop corn and take a nice 2 hr nap during the movie lol

We went tonight.  The movie was kind of wild...............It had so many  twists and turns I think I strained my neck!  It was real good and as you can figure, it didn't end the way you'd think.

 

I won't say another word about it in case you want to see it......................it reminded me of another movie from about 25 years ago that gave me nightmares.  I ain't giving the title of that one or it'll give it all away.

 

Applebee's got the nod afterword and even that was pretty good, all in all it was a great night.

 

Oh, I'd give the movie 8.75/10 shot magazine. :yes:
