Shadd Rapp
Finally got one tag filled yesterday at 11:27 am. The toms have been henned up right off the roost in the morning so I decided to go out about 9:30. When I got to the field there was a hen already out there. So I snuck back into the hedgerow and set up. About 11 am I hear a faint gobble to the north in the next field. This guy an 3 other gobblers finally come into the field where I was. They were all fighting each other, feathers were flying everywhere. Then he came running down the edge of the hedgerow and I shot him at about 3 yards. He weighed 20 lbs. Had a 9 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
