jjb4900
the last time I bought myself a new gun, it was right around Christmas time, so I wrapped it up as a gift from her and the kids to me and put it under the tree...........do I have to tell you who was more surprised? and it was worth a good laugh as well.

dbHunterNY
Hell of a rare situation to be in…..Sorry... yea my next excuse will be "you always pay so much attention to my guns and stuff I put on them so I thought I'd get more for you to admire and appreciate." ....followed by "you're right accessorizing is fun!! look all the cool stuff this one came with!" Five Seasons
I have a decent collection but not the size id like. And that's mostly because I talk myself out of it. I've got to man up

I've got to man up me too, my wife could care less what I bought..it's me that has a tough time justifying buying a gun or anything else I really don't need.

Doc
I have a decent collection but not the size id like. And that's mostly because I talk myself out of it. I've got to man up Yeah, it's not the wife that is barrier to new gun purchases. I'm just too damned cheap and keep coming up with all these good reasons why I don't need more guns. And the fact is, I really don't need any more.
nyantler
I am not a collector of guns... so for me I only own weapons that I use on a regular basis... I am pretty well maxed out as far as what I need for hunting... I do however get an occasional urge to add another pistol to the arsenal, but usually the price tag quells that urge in a hurry. As for my wife, she learned many years ago that if I want it bad enough there is nothing she can do to keep me from buying it.
Trial153
I just buy what I want, guns aren't really cost prohibitive to me. I do have few that I look at and say" what the hell was I thinking when I bought that"
