Shed season 2010 - 2011

I saw another buck still carrying today.  I've only found 2 this yr.  Last 2 yrs I found 10 and 8, but they don't shed if they're dead!

I havent seen anything with antlers since the 1st day of gun.

I saw a 4pt. & my buddy saw a 6-8 pt last week still attached, seems late to me??

I saw it yesterday in Livingston county while shed hunting.

I called quits on the shed hunting last week, but secured permission today to look on several hundred acres of prime big buck ground.  I plan on doing a little walking around over there over the next few days before I get too caught up in the turkey hunting fever.  Maybe I'll get lucky and find a couple of good ones to end the year with...

Finally found a shed after 5 hrs of searching today . Still have a lot of ground in a thick pine wintering area to cover. Wife is starting to get annoyed.

Ask her to go with you .... tell her most women have a better eye for detail and you could use the help as it would cut down the time needed to cover the area!

WOw thats a nice buck too bad he got hit by a car or he would have been a real beauty this year.  At least you get to keep his rack though so its not a total loss.  Erussell i  know what you mean about the wife getting annoyed my girlfriend thinks im totaly crazy i have been out every weekend since feb most of the time leaving at 6 in the morning to get to my shed hunting grounds about an hour away.  Today was my last day out for the year and i found one more which makes for a total of 23 for the season.  Now its turkey time im sure that will go over real well with the girlfriend too lollll..

Went out monday for 4 hrs and searched for the other half of the 2 point I found and came up with nothing. On the flip side I really have a good knowledge of the trails the deer use in the fall.

Found two small sheds while out turkey hunting today.  Unfortunately, no turkey to go with them.  Anyways, they bring me to a total of 33 for the year.
