crappyice
Beauty. Now don't take this the wrong way but I don't know how big he really is: I say that with VERY LITTLE EXPERIENCE except for a bear hunt in Maine this summer. Everyone who shot a bear said, " I thought it was so much bigger" after recovering the it bear. My buddy "shot a monster" and when the guide found it he estimated it to be 150lbs. Real weight=105lbs! So even a guide of 20+ years overestimated by 1/3rd. Apparently they shrink faster than George Constanza at a Hampton pool party!!! jjb4900
I'll tell you what....I would rather a bear shrink then grow, that's gotta be one helluva job getting something like that out of the woods.

DirtTime
He's a big one. Cool pics. I agree, that will be pain getting out of the woods. But worth it.

dbHunterNY
by the size of his noggin at the end of that neck and compared to his body he must be big. don't have much experience with bear but most shot around here are 200 lb dressed. 300+ is a great bear I'd imagine? wmig2
That's a big bear. Harvest that beast so we can get an actual weight. I'm guessing 370 lbs.

The_Real_TCIII
That's a monster. I've seen a lot of bears and killed a few. I think 400+ easy
Taylormike
Big Bear for sure. I last week saw my first bear while on stand. I always said I wouldn't shoot one. Now that I saw one, I would definitely shoot. However, few questions: How to get out of woods? Do you take to a processor, eat all the meat? Take it to taxidermist and get what done; full mount is probably ridiculously expensive, rug, etc. Guys that have some insight or experiences let me know what you did. Thanks!
