No action but another nice morning

Well, after many years after my first doe at 16 with my bow I finally got a buck with the bow. (20+ years later)

I had lost a buck a few years back, shoulder hit that didn't penetrate, and finally this guy which was not a perfect shot. It was a littler far back and was either because of nerves or a small branch but leaning toward nerves had a ton of time. But I found him finally. Not a monster but pretty solid for my first bow buck. Also the first deer I caped myself.

Thx grow. Was not a fun time at first, thought it was a gone deer. Had no blood it all pooled up inside him. Got part gut and part lung.

Well that just makes him an even better buck and hunt...for you had the skills to track him down for a recovery,now that's a hunter,and an accomplishment to take pride in.
