Yes 225 dressed. I've seen them as big as 242 here. The deer have all the food they need here. U don't see as many deer as u do in southern tier but the ones u do see are worth it most of the time!

225lbs dressed is a slob of a buck! In 43 years of hunting I've only shot three over 200lbs. In your area, how many other bucks have you taken over 200? We don't have the huge crops here like years ago.

Grampy i myself have prob only taken 3 over 200 lbs. but between my friends and I we get at least one or more a yr. we are up on Lake Ontario border. Flat and lots of corn. But the corn is great and not so great at the same time. Once they know they are being hunted u don't see them again. They live in the corn.

Beautiful buck! Congrats on a great 9 point! If you were going by just a gross score, I'd say about 135, but surely a minimum P&Y even with the deductions and New York Big Buck Club buck! GREAT bases, and the beam length is decent.

Did you measure him yet. I think he's 140. Please post after you measure the rack.

We did measure him 2 times. Well to do my friends did. 1 has 137 and the other 143. I'm going to take him to the guy who scores for this area for the books next wk for a green score just to see if he thinks he will make the books

If he doesn't qualify for NY Big Buck Club, you can enter him into the Northeast Big Buck Club. The deer in my avatar is in that record book and he scored about 135. Nice job!

Well guys it's finally been over 60 days. Had buck scored professionally today. It grossed a 143 and nets 126. Just figured I'd give an update.

That's a great buck no doubt but quite a few deductions on that rack I would be surprised if he scored what you say,, you should have it scored by someone other than yourself,, I've had two done and I'm not on board... 

That said it's a real nice deer JMO

I had him scored by a professional. That's what his measurements are. I had to have him scored so he can go in the books. The pro came up with them numbers.
