wooly
I've been itching to use that title for a long time now. Found this guy diving for branches down at the crick and enjoying a shore lunch. He's making a real mess in the creekbottom but I was glad to see him. I got to move in after he popped up through the same hole in the ice a couple times and dove back for more. Just wish I coulda got that darn branch on the left outta the way.

nyantler
Destructive but interesting critters! Destructive .. yet constructive as well remember..their decline years ago is what caused the decline of the moose population in NY as well. DTG3k
How did Beavers affect the Moose population ? I remember reading something about Beavers creating more wetlands, which Moose love.

wooly
I am just curious to know what they did to affect the moose population . I think it goes back to a little incident on Shitz Creek. The beavers damned it up and left the antlerless moose up it without their paddles.

Dave
Remember Leave it to Beaver show. Well one day June Cleaver said to Ward Cleaver, she thought he was a little hard on the beaver last night.

LOL, Dave.... That may have been wishful thinking on June's part... I heard she was a closet NYMPHO and spent most of her time sneaking out behind the garage with Eddie Haskell...
