growalot
You don't know for weeks that over $100.00 worth of gifts never arrived when Amazon lists them as delivered. Yep So... we all waited..until I finally asked...how'd the girls like their gifts?...All listed delivered on the 15 of Dec..Hhhhmmm someone didn't know that FIL never leaves and being in a ...rather well to do area, everyone has security cameras around their homes...there was never a delivery made that day...though a gift listed delivered by Amazon(UPS) listed as delivered the 17th actually did arrive...on the 24th...It took me 15mins and many, can you repeat that?, I don't understand, Could you speak a bit slower?...India, They reshipped everything ,no charge expedited. I have to give Amazon credit...of course I read the e-mail about the security footage never showing a delivery on that date and the other package arriving 10 days after Amazon said it did...Pretty sure that helped ,seeing he put me on hold right after I read it to him... Doc
Why do these companies always hire customer service people that cannot communicate with customers? Nothing is more frustrating than trying to straighten out problems with people who you can't understand. Usually the situation is already confusing enough with out the added problem of a communications barrier. These companies must understand that.

growalot
when I gave theme the serial #'s of the gift cards , I asked if they could tell me whether they'd been used or not...He told me it was irrelevant for we were getting new ones. I said I was just curious as to whether these were lost or stolen. I honestly wonder if they ever left the ware house and something could be happening on their distribution end...hhhmmmm just curious.. ny hunter
They arrested a woman in December who worked for the post office as a mail carrier. She stole over 5000 dollars worth of gift cards....Only got caught because a few poeple went to the PO.
WNYBuckHunter
Ive always had good luck with Amazon. In fact, I ordered a new e-caller a couple of weeks ago. Ordered it at 2pm on a Friday, the UPS guy knocked on my door at 8:15am the following day. Had a new laptop for my daughter delivered in 2 days just this week. Delivery people that steal stuff are just plain scumbags. Worse than the people that steal the package in front of your door IMO.
growalot
Never have had a problem with Amazon and hey 15 mins was a breeze for customer service..the biggest not understanding was,and I told him this, The woman speaking near to him had much more powerful voices...I could hear the frustration in his voice when he said "They were packed in elbow to elbow"... Though I will never trust the delivery date notifications ever again. Lesson learned

growalot
Let's be honest here...liberal Americans unwilling to "lower themselves" by doing such menial work. They'd rather suck off the conservative " working man's " teet. If the liberals would get off their lazy asses there wouldn't be a gap in the work force ,chasm actually, for so many illegals to fill. There was a time when most Americans wouldn't think twice about cleaning toilets all day if it meant staying off welfare. Now most would rather sit on the toilet all day waiting for a check delivery.

Instead of blaming "liberals' why don't you put the blame where it belongs, on the greedy companies who in order to save labor costs move their call centers to these foreign countries. Oh but its much better to blame liberals then those who bankroll the republican party.

Elmo
Amazon has always been good to me as far as returns and refunds. The guy that use to handle concierge service at my building was horrible. He once signed off on a package for me and forgot about it so after a while, I checked Amazon for an update and it said it was delivered. I called Amazon and resent me the package, no questions asked. They even expressed mailed it and I was able to receive it since I was home for this one. A couple of days later, the concierge told me "Hey...I got this package for you. It's been sitting here for a week already." like it was my fault I didn't ask for it even though he's seen me walk in and out all these times. I told Amazon what happened and they emailed me a pre-paid return label so I shipped the original back free of charge.
growalot
OMG I got a very upset e-mail last night...cards arrived...they made her sign...girls called to thank us...They go to use the cards...invalid !! How embarrassing this has gotten! So here I sit, not working, but just getting off the phone with Amazon again! The cards were never scanned at the warehouse...and are still listed in the system as "pending order"..So they can't re issue them until that clears...at least another week...Also I believe they would have given me a real ace ache had I not had physical pictures of the cards, she SIGNED for..... showing all the card #'s
