Were the camping and fishing picture from the Adirondacks? Yes the Top pic was Moose River Camp site I think we where at Lost Ponds. The Fishing pics are all from Middle Saranac Lake, the last 2 where from my 2010 buck that he missed because he left the same morning, he missed it by about an hour and said he though he might have pushed the buck up to me, and I always thought it was my skills, lol. Now I realize it had to be him that chased that deer up to me! I drove back home with the deer just to get the picture with him taken by his Father. He will be with us in spirit this year! As will Chris! NFA Camp 2004 Greg Jeff and Chris on the right, I think my other best friend Shawn took the picture. Greg and Chris Last pics are Greg, Chris and Shawn before heading out. My first buck pic also has all 3 of them and me. See if I can find that on the site quick. Shawn, the bald guy is me, then Chris and Greg. 2000, Pic might show first.
NFA-ADK
Thanks again for the support! Really it does mean allot! I think the best thing is to teach people about the positive things that person was all about and always try to keep an open ear to those you might think could use some help. If you are ever in need or having issues reach out, their is always help. Probably one of the reasons the outdoors seems so natural to me and the people I have as closest friends, we always enjoyed it with such a passion. The memories are priceless and bring back the good times that made that person so special. Again thanks for the support, I consider you my brothers and sisters in the outdoors that really cherish that bond with nature so much. Regardless of how much we like to fight about well just about anything. lol Good note! God Bless

Doc
I am of an age where these losses have become frequent. I have lost many friends and many hunting partners. But I have never had to say goodbye to one at such a young age. That is even more heart-breaking. All I can say is, celebrate the times you had together and appreciate the fact that he was in your life for the time that he was. Though the pain will eventually fade, the good experiences and memories never will.
