Early goose anyone going?

It's almost here can't wait to drop some geese this weekend, have a few fields locked up that have steady action but as always looking for more to hit the jackpot. Good luck if anyone's going.

I like to use Carlson's choke tubes for waterfowl because they're affordable and work well with my sx4, mid and long range chokes. For ammo I shoot mostly BB in 3 and 3.5 shells(mostly 3) I did pick up a box of BBB black cloud for cheap so I might give that a try.

Checked some fields for the opener tomorrow and sadly my honey hole has went from about 500 geese to about 50 in a week's time, it's ok I'll be there

The Mermaid has me doing so much crap on the property I haven't even THOUGHT about honkers..

I'll be with you in spirit, however...I truly LOVE the thump when a big honker hits the ground from about 30 yards up !!

We killed 23 by 8 o'clock and got in a pissing match with the guys that thought they could set up and hunt my spread with us in our field, so that's it for the day lol. Hunting water tomorrow

New to NY, originally from MN but moved out here a couple weeks ago. Scouted out a handful of fields for early goose opener that I was denied permission on. Tough out here. Not looking to take anyone's spots at all, but if anyone wants to hunt together throughout the season feel free to reach out. Got a great dog, a pile of decoys in a utility trailer, a boat and willing to put in the work - might just need a bit of guidance to figure this state out. Any advice is appreciated

We had 4 dozen Bigfoots an shells. We had the deeks just not much in the air. But your more than welcome next time Larry

Hunted on water and wasn't a great day, very strange early season thus far (2 days I know lol)
