BizCT
Onto 2018. My dad hunted 2pm - 630pm tonight in hopes of seeing a yote/bobcat/fox. He didn’t see any but around 3pm he kicked up 2 nice bucks (1 at least 8pt and 1 at least 6pt) along with a doe. All three were together. Maybe the doe was actually a buck that dropped antlers already? Anyway, he said cams have lots of pics of bucks so next time I go there I’ll take a look and post the pics. BizCT
Went to parents land today for first time since I hunted the last morning of shotgun season (12/10). Did 2.74 miles, no sheds found but checked all my cams and happy see my 8pt target buck is still alive. In effect he came thru on morning of 12/11 at around 715am. The bolyguard cam is 5hr 20min SLOW/BEHIND real time. The other cams are correct. There’s also a broken 5pt that made it thru alive and several small bucks as well. The broken 5pt sparred with smaller one too. Lastly, had 1 red and a couple pics of yote(s). And of course lots of doe/fawns.MSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BizCT
Thoughts on this one being a big doe or a buck that lost its rack?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
goosifer
Nice pics, Biz. Pretty, classic deer hunting terrain. If we are allowed to guess, I am saying doe because of the rounder ears.

Steuben Jerry
I don't see any signs of pedicles so I'll say doe. A well fed one!

BizCT
Did 3.5 miles today and found my first New York shed.Last time I was in woods I found this new spot I’d like to gun hunt from. Today I went there and found this bone After taking a pic of it I jabbed into the ground and when I did I notice the base of an antler sticking up from leaves and pulled up this spike antler. It has some serious gouges in it. I guess chewed on from last year? Was hoping for bigger, but still cool. Also checked cams and lots of deer along with a beauty bobcat and big yote. The bolyguard cam pics are 5hr and 20min slow. The broken 5pt still has antlers in early February. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BizCT
3/25: Went to land thinking I would look for sheds, but instead found a foot of snow still. I had none at my house 15miles away. Anyway, no sheds but checked cams, covered 2.6 miles, and found my lucky blind is crushed and rods snapped from Storms. Will have to replace it in warmer weather.
