sodfather
2016 Prime Rival 50-60 limbs . I bought off classifieds at archery talk.. Bow is is excellent shape can’t wait to gear it up. 5” longer than my Halon but excited to shoot it. Not crazy about the yellow string but probably live with it for a year

sodfather
I shot one before it's a smooth draw nice grip I was just scared of the cam design at the time that's why I went with my Mathews. But now after reading everyone who owner one loves it. The guys who are selling them used are upgrading to the newest Prime.

Easy to tune.

Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk 6 1/2 " brace height 35" ATA. I pulled it back couple times it's real smooth, solid back wall. The only thing I noticed and haven't fired an arrow yet was it's very similar to the Elite bows, the let off feels like ya gotta push the string. Just something I'm going to have to get use to. I hate when it feels you need to push the string...a bow with a solid back wall combined with shooting a nice thumb release has fixed having to push the string on a bow with a deep valley.(for me)Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Tacks let me try his thumb release and I'm not sure if I could get use to it.
mlammerhirt
Try that thumb release a few times and make a solid commitment to it before writing it off.....I felt the same way...and now I won't go back to a trigger release. They have such a clean break it is unbelievable.Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk i agree very different and takes a while to get settled in and comfortable with one. crisp clean break helps with killing foam or targets. i still like to use a wrist strap for hunting though. dbHunterNY
stabile bow.... if it's draws smooth i bet it'll be real nice. moog says they tune well too. i don't have much of any experience with Prime bows. nobody really carried them around here. I actually had a dream last night that i went to the archery shop and it was packed. They had one prime in and no mathews. I blame this thread for the dream.

Is that button plastic or aluminum? If it is a plastic button that connects the single string to the double section that would scare me. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. They advertise it as zero cam lean, which was why they came up with the design.
