Just Lucky
Sppedometer will be off. A dealer maybe able to program tire size into computer.
Don_C
Of course you can do it. You will be running only 1/2 inch shorter of a tire. (diameter) that will only effect your speedo by less than 1mph at 60mph, so you will read 60 and really be going 59.1. It will be slightly narrower obviously. We usually run wider and taller tires on our trucks, not sure why you would want to go smaller unless you're getting a good deal on them. One of my sons just put 37's on his 2015 Silverado a few weeks ago, that WILL throw everything off, but it still goes and looks damn good. https://tiresize.com/comparison/
Nomad
Many run smaller in height and width snow tires . The Tire and Wheel Size From Your Vehicle's Base Model This is often an easy way to select an appropriate narrow tire for your car, van or truck. For example, a 2012 Honda Accord EX Sedan would store its original 225/50R17-sized tires in favor of the 2012 Honda Accord SE Sedan's 215/60R16-sized winter tires on 16" wheels. While only a small dimensional difference, this combination will reduce your cost while increasing your vehicle's wintertime traction. Moho81
@FatBoyD nailed it. I ran a size smaller on my old Silverado once because I was trading it in and needed something cheap to get me through. You won’t notice anything. BigVal
It'll be fine like other s said. I run tires that are way off from the factory tires.
