Airline Of Choice Buffalo-Orlando/Fort Myers?

Need to get a couple tickets for a round trip flight sometime later this month or maybe next month.  Looking for info for flying into Orlando and out of Ft Meyers, originating in Buffalo.  Family members asked me to get some ideas from you guys/gals on your favorite carriers.   I haven't booked a flight in about a year and I'm just not up on who's the hot/favored outfit lately.  Thanks.........

Rental car company of choice?

Wife and I flew to Tampa from Buf on Southwest Airlines non-stop, then returned for about $650 total. Seems like other airlines were more expensive, so we stayed away from them. 

Rental cars a toss-up.

I always try to fly Southwest. Only time I dont is if they dont service where I need to go. I usually fly out of Rochester, but I know they have a ton of flights out of Buffalo as well. Havent flown into Ft. Meyers, but have had to catch connections in Orlando a time or two, so I know they fly there.

Rentals, I use Enterprise or National, but thats due to a contract we have with them through work. Only ever had 1 issue with them, and it was a screw up on our corporate account. They upgraded me from an economy to a full size and included a tank of gas at no charge for the hassle. Im part of their VIP club or whatever its called, so now I get to get off the plane, pick whatever car I want, and go. Keys are already in the cars, no need to even talk to anyone. Its pretty darn nice.

only rental company i've had bad luck with was Dollar down in GA.

Southwest in our 4 Disney trips. Recently looking for our next. SW again best deal. 

As far as rental cars I don’t think we ever chose the same one lol.

Soutwest buffalo to orlando non-stop round trip... I live in rochester and drive to buffalo to get a deal and non-stop flight.. I usually can get direct going down but coming back up sometimes has a stop...

I flew
allegient from Niagara Falls to Tampa in October and it was cheap and a great flight. Only trouble is if you get delayed, that’s that you aren’t going. They only have a flight or two going

If you want to save a few bucks and not mess around in the large Orlando (OIA) airport, check into the Orlando / Sanford Airport. Allegiant flies in / out of there. I've flown direct into and out of Elmira Airport. It's not that far away either.

I go down there a lot and if I have time rather just drive down there .

JetBlue is what I use the most when I fly
