I was in Fla last weekend, we didn’t exactly kill em like we did last year but it was a blast anyway9f1854c6712ee923cbb35b5549f17293.jpg947e943e86aebd3b3d4d7ebaa0852144.jpgb170540dd22c02cde592eb395db4b7bb.jpg2d6aa4d74250a9aef9d54f80833e79f0.jpg4a15caf640292761f1e197f44bd8d538.jpg

None of the pictured fish are good to eat but we did get a Spanish mackerel which are excellent and some key west snapper that are also really good.  A place in town makes us a couple huge platters of fish tacos

I never had a bad snapper in my life....Some were better than others, but the worst was pretty damn good....<<GRIN>>….

Went 3/6 this afternoon in the rain/snow mix, I did however get into a brown (2 actually) on my centerpin so that was awesome. Back to back drifts too! IMG_20181120_163425_901.jpegIMG_20181120_163425_899.jpegIMG_20181120_153846_552.jpeg

Suffered through 25° temps and 30mph winds but was rewarded with a brown trout beatdown and I even nailed an Atlantic Salmon on the first drift of the morning! Gorgeous fish, god I love river fishing!IMG_20181121_161506_565.jpegSquarePic_20181121_16042718.jpegIMG_20181121_161506_561.jpegSquarePic_20181121_16053144.jpegSquarePic_20181121_16024766.jpeg

The fish I kept were from the willowemoc, by the covered bridge. The bigger fish I saw were on the beaverkill though

If you like the bk and the willow, you should drive a littler further and hit the east and west branches

I was thinking of doing that this spring. Trying to find people to go with me as I like company while fishing
