Old buck mount

Just finished this bruiser for a good buddy of mine. Based on sheds and trail cam pics, this buck was at least 7.5 year old last fall. In fact, I found his sheds from the previous year and they were 20" larger than when he was killed. It's amazing that a deer can live that long in these part...truely an amazing animal.

Nice job on the mount. We have a three legged doe in our area that has been around for years now. Just amazing how they survive.

looks great as usual. it takes a lot to get a buck that old out this way unless you get up into blue line further.

A buck that old is almost unheard of most anywhere in NY. Great buck!!!  And as always a beautiful mount!

If I'm ever lucky enough, to shoot another truly nice buck, I would love for you to do the mount!  I've seen one of your mounts up close, (moogs) and you did a fantastic job!

My success rate on a REALLY good buck, that I would have another mount done, hasn't been too good the last few years. That's on me. I need to do my part, before you can do yours!...........lol
