Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk Find a cut grass field and set up some full bodies. Don’t forget the hide must be perfect. Even if birds are not using the field but has traffic you can pull them in with aggressive challenge clucks/double clucks.solit up the full bodies into small groups Not family groups . After your kill clean those quick you won’t believe the flies and bees that will be all over you, right Tacs

Secured permission on a new spot this morning, holding numbers in the several hundreds, I'll be keeping very close tabs on it this week. Exclusivity to the field is another thing to hope for........ The_Real_TCIII
Luckily I'm a very very early riser We hit a field last year that had literally hundreds of geese and ducks using it, some clown comes walking out and tries to tell us we don’t have permission, blah blah blah. He finally leaves and the DEC comes about an hour later, all was good. Lo and behold that guy and about seven other trucks were there the next day. He was torqued that we took Friday off and hunted itSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Daveboone
I try to get out for northern tier grouse as soon as I can. I enjoy the reason for a walk in the woods more than I am concerned for shooting them, and it is great opportunity for scouting.

I may be one of them but if it all works out I'll be on the field really really early Saturday.

Rattler
Dammit. I'm stuck with chores until 11 AM today. Squirrels will have to wait until this afternoon. Edited September 1, 2018 by Rattler
