New Toy..

My wife and I left Saturdays banquet with another new toy.. 

We got lucky again and won a Browning A-bolt III in 6.5cm. 

I have yet to shoot a Browning rifle, but man do they feel great when shouldered. We won the custom engraved A-Bolt III in 270, at the banquet 2 years ago and have yet to fire that one still. Both wood Walnut Stocks, It makes me want more wood stock guns.. The factory synthetic stocks feel like garbage compared to these stocks.. 

Sold my Savage Axis in 6.5cm since I dont need 2 of them. Ill take that money and pick up a nice set of optics for it..

i prefer wood for look and feel..honestly if weather is that bad i need to worry about wood stock swelling affecting accuracy.. i wouldnt be out hunting anyway

I agree, Im surprised for being Wood stock, this gun is quite light and very comfortable to hold shouldered..

Cool! Wish I had that kind of luck. The only time my number comes up is for jury duty. Enjoy both rifles.

Beautiful! I’ve got one in synthetic, I really want a “real” wood stock rifle.
That and a nice over under are the only guns I’m missing

One tip: make sure you order the actual Browning A Bolt III rings, I couldn’t find any other manufacturer for that specific rifle. The other A Bolt models are different

6.5 Creedmoor is from what I read a death ray.  Really all you need to do is be close with your shot and shiit Just dies........

I had been trying to buy a base and rings for the 270 and the base seems almost impossible.. They made a different base for the A bolt 1, 2 and 3... lol why? Ill have to look again since ill be needing 2 now

Thats what I wanna hear! Because when Mr big steps out.. I lose my shhh... cool! I think ill be using it for many critters, deer and coyote especially.. Its an awesome feeling gun!

I was the same way, My entire life, never won anything at all. if it wasnt for bad luck i would have none whats over.. But Since my dad passed away 2 years ago, just before the 1st banquest we attended that he was supposed to be at... We started winning things. That year we walked away with well over $3k in things. Thanks

If I remember correctly I ordered them direct from Browning, even Midway USA couldn’t help me
