8/31: shot bow and checked cams. Had pics of a 4pt, spike, yotes, Fox, turkeys, does, and finally a spotted fawn. Below are pics of shooters for me. Two 6pts, one with brows and one without. They hang together. A big wide 8pt and maybe another 8?

Yea the two 6’s and the 8 are all 10/1 shooters with the compound for me. Which means I won’t see any of them lol

Yea. Things never go according to plan so I like to try weird shots. I do chair angles, kneeling on ground, etc. sometimes I face one way and then turn quick and draw and shoot.

9/14: checked cams and Zero bucks the past 2 weeks. Just does and yotes. Electric company came twice spraying under powerlines. Everything brown and dead. So 10/1 I’ll hunt with ZERO pics of hard horned bucks. Maybe it’s a good thing.

2016- nice bucks hit acorn flat late September and early October in mornings but I wasn’t hunting bow season. It led me to buy Mathews in 2017.

2017 and 2018- big bucks hit acorn flat mid September and stopped by October.

2019 - big bucks have NOT hit acorn flat YET. If they are 2 weeks late, it could be pandemonium for me on 10/1!

I'm so tempted to check cams weekend of 9/28 - 9/29 to help decide where to sit 10/1, but i guess i gotta let it ride.

9/28: went to blue mountain range with .243 and 7MMWBYMAG to make sure they good to go for my annual WNY rifle hunt.

10/1: hunted dark - 12pm and 3pm - dark. No deer seen until I was walking out when one jumped out in front of me. It froze in my flashlight at 40-50yds. Nice body but couldn’t see if there were any antlers.

Cams had a 4x2, 6pt I would shoot as recent as last night and a spike and some does. I switched tomorrow day off with Friday so that’s my next day out

Cool dairy ,  are you planning to hunt that state land or opting out .

Here's my diary  went to the closest place to home yesterday, I saw nothing  yesterday the 5 guys that also hunted where I was at also saw nothing today I drove by this morning nobody there why ?

Because it's all hunted out  .

Just my theory .

Plenty of time left to go farther up state to spot B then c d e  and f  if I get a chance .

Yes, I will give the stateland a shot. Not sure when yet. I had my dad drive by it yesterday to check the parking for me. He saw 1 car at 10am.

10/2: Dad went to check cam on lower part of property since my iphone reader said 0 pics and i thought that was odd. He said there was a big 4 and an 8pt in the past 2 weeks. 8pt on 9/26. I did the new iphone software update so maybe it was acting wacky yesterday
