Looks like a real nice price on this Shield.

I was potentially thinking about picking up the .40

What's your thoughts on this pistol?

I have a 9 mm shield  original.  Have shot the 40 . Opted for 9mm cheaper ammo .. more practice more fun .  Dont reload for my autos .  It's a good option for a guy with big hands  extended magazine. Look for a rebate.

Have the performance 2.0 model shield in 9mm. Better trigger , night sights , ported barrel and slide. Great carry gun. Shoots great   Think I paid $480 though

I have one (9mm) and really like it..........that there is a smoking deal.

40 cal is going to be pretty snappy

I honestly dont think 40 in the shield  was at all snappy.   I however shoot guns most people would find a little more than snappy.

Yeah sweet deal. I bought a used m&p 9mm a few months ago which came with an extended clip and it fits my big hands nice.

I've got the original shield in 40cal.  Love it. It's my EDC.

Has never jamed or failed to fire, and I've shot the cheap stuff to +p, and a lot of it.

Bought a kydex from Wolcotts. IWB.  At dinner at carte Blanche so don’t want to slap gun on table to check manufacturer

Lot of 9mm ammo that can out perform 40cal with less "snappiness". IRC, the FBI is going back to 9MM for those very reasons and quicker target acquisition on repeat shots..!?! Anyways, looks like a great deal!
