I know this is a stupid question, but what does the DEC mean when they say that the DMP's are free to purchasers of the lifetime Sportsman prior to Oct. 1, 2009? Just curious as to why they specified a date concerning that.

My neighbor got his backtag and carcass tags about 2 weeks ago. Last week, I got the new plastic license card, but no backtag or carcass tags. My son hasn't gotten anything. Seems strange...

I'm starting to get a bit nervous..... :-\ . I haven't gotten a thing yet. But I remember last year it seemed that everyone else had gotten theirs before mine finally came.

my two sons got theres yesterday, I'm still waiting   keep in mind they don't come in the large brown envelope like last year, regular sized white

When the price of licenses went up the last time they said that anyone who bought a Lifetime Sportsman before that date would get free entrance to the DMP lottery going forward.  Anyone who bought a Lifetime Sportsman after that date would have to pay the $10 like everyone else wo wanted to enter.

IIRC, a Lifetime license holder doesn't even need the current license in hand to get DMP's.

Funny, mine came in a regular, white, business-size envelope last year.

last yr mine came in a large minilla envolope,as for the DMP I baught my lifetime back in 2001 and never have been charged for DMP

I WON THE MEGA DOE LOTTERY!!!!

Got both tags for my unit of choice, 9H (you can bet your sweet azz that at least one of those will be tied to the ear on a RIFLE killed doe )

I'll get  a couple back up's for 8N during that 2nd giveaway or from the senior members of the camp on IR. (injured reserve)

Still don't have mine or my sons! Confused as they always come before licenses go on sale. I e-mailed the DEC a few days ago, but haven't heard anything back.

Cabin, last year mine came like 3 weeks after everyone else.
