DMP's - What time can you get them on the webiste? 12:01?

DMP's are Luck of the Draw not 1st come 1st served so it doesn't matter how early you apply

John ,I see they increased the dmp's for 3H.With 2 preferance credits I might get one this year.

No but, I did it this morning.  Now I have two preference points, didnt get my first choice.

i don't get how the prefrence points work. Elmer you say you have two now. Well how come a guy with no points can get two tags but you still get denied your first even though you had a point?

Rob, I had 1 pref. point from last year which gave me the opportunity to try for one in 4H (pp required) this year, I was denied in 4H this year, so I get one point for that, my second choice was 3F which is a higher chance.

Plus you have to factor in if your a land owner with more then 50 acres with basically guarantee's you a tag.

so for me i hunt in 9k and 9g which neither have ever required a prefrence point so it really does me know good for next year then? I've never not got my first choice so this is my first time with a point

Now that you have a PP you have a higher chance of getting that first pick next year.  When it says PP required that means if you have 0 PP's you have 0 chance.  If you have a PP and its still "high / medium" you have a better chance then those who do not, at least thats how I understand it.

2 for 8N ...didn't try for 8x this year no time for camp...besides first time in a hunt champion ship...two person teams across the country scoring is on # of rack points not size or spread and does count as a point...8X is in a lower DMP unit...just another excuse to hold off on smaller buck ...no prizes just good fun with teams egging each other on

Ordered my license this morning and applied for my DMPs. 2 for 8H going in my pocket so far. We will see what leftovers they have later on.

Got a 6S today.  6P was listed as needing a PP for the 2nd tag.  Apparently I had a point left over from the last time I applied (like 3 years ago), but still got denied for that one.
