I do love a good Sirloin Steak when, I have some extra money. And nothing beats a good Hamburger. I probably eat more Chicken, Turkey, and Tuna though then Red Meat.
I eat more chicken and turkey than red meat only because the fiancee only eats chicken and turkey. I don't cook nearly as much venison nor steak as I'd like because I'd be the only one eating it and also don't want her to have to cook 2 meals for dinner

Reminds me very much of the study "experts" do on the health benefits of eggs about every decade. Seems to alternate between okay to eat, to eggs are super bad. WTH???

JMO, beef has out-priced itself and most consumers look at $/serving rather than taste appeal. If you don't have a family budget, this isn't an issue...
