farmer 52
Are these legal or not in NY Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Deleted Account
I don't see why it wouldn't be legal, unless it is doesn't meet the size requirements. It must be at least 7/8th inch at the widest part, if I'm researching correctly. It doesn't look barbed. ApexerER
Pretty sure it doesn't look barbed because of the angle it is sitting. If those blades come back even a little bit they aren't legal as far as I am aware because they are considered barbed.
Nomad
Hard to tell for sure from that picture, stick something that’s 90 degrees along shaft and bottom of blade , a simple square will do.

ApexerER
90 and less all good. More than 90 is considered barbed.

fasteddie
If the blades on the mechanicals don't fold back up when the arrow is pulled out , they aren't legal .
farmer 52
Thanks for the help, figured they were legal but the pics and description in the hunting book really aren't very helpful.

UpStateRedNeck
I'm switching to fixed blades this year. @THP guys convinced me. Some of the shots they made with fixed that just destroyed big bucks I could not do with my mechanicals. Going to restring her, and retune for fixed.
