Where is separation of church in the Constitution?  I've never been able to find that in it?

Have you been paying attention to what is going on around you for the last 3 months? Or the last 4 years? Russian collusion charges that nobody could prove. A phony impeachment trial that went nowhere. And suddenly a worldwide epidemic that originated in China (big surprise). Now racial protests before anyone even goes on trial. Honestly, I am in shock of what I see going on around me. Police that are told to stand down & let looters destroy cities. Perhaps this is the improvement you are talking about?

This is not the country I grew up in, and not the country many of our relatives fought to create & preserve.  And if we are not careful, we will get what some of us want, complete corrupt government control & 3rd world socialism.

Correct so it’s says that it is the constitutions duty to protect religion not to enforce it what’s your issue. Also it does not explicitly say Christianity now does it ?

Well, as probably one of the few people here who has lived in multiple countries all over the world including a muslim country, I'm down with ethnic diversity. 

But if possible, I would love to live in a country with insanely hot women who believe in fairies and trolls and have a very casual idea about sex; has an abundance of clean air, water and energy; no end of natural resources for the hunting and fishing sportsman; has a social structure while being one of the world's oldest parliamentary democracies; actually has a political party called the "Pirate Party"; aurora borealis; the world's best hotdogs; halfway between NA and Europe; no mosquitos; no McDonalds; and did I mention babes?

This thread shows exactly what is wrong with our country. Most of us on this forum think the same way so the overwhelming majority agree with each other here but when you throw in the views of @BowmanMike and to some extent @Chef it is easy to see why we are where we are as a country. If this thread was split close to 50/50 like the country it would be uglier than it is......

I don't mean to pick on you @BowmanMike but I will never understand your views. To me they just don't make sense and they never will. Whether we argue about it nicely or aggressively doesn't change the fact that we will never agree. 

On top of that, to me, my views are just common sense so how someone else can't see that is maddening. @BowmanMike I don't want to put words in your mouth, but I am guessing that your views are common sense to you. This is where the problem comes from and why there has become no middle ground. I believe my views are right and have a hard time understanding why others can't see what is so blatantly obviously the right thing to do.....I am guessing the left views the same way (I am only guessing) which is why compromise is so hard. I have no idea how you fix it but we need to do something or we really will have another civil war....

Yes I think trumps horrendous response to covid 19 played a huge role in our current situation. We still haven’t gotten it right. It should have been mass testing and isolation from day one. Any way I’m not a Biden fan. Will never give up my AR’s.


Oh and Trumps tax plan hurt me way more than any Democrat ever has. He actually attacked the upper middle class with his tax plan

So are we in agreement that Trump in no way shape or form can reopen NYS ?  Guess what ,he can't close it either ,your boy Andrew is to blame for the horrific death numbers in NYS .
