Lifetime license

anyone get it in the mail yet. Also does anyone recall when they first came out. I got mine the first year it was offered but don't recall when that was.

One year I got it after squirrel season started.  I called DEC and they told me to use the previous years license until the new one arrives.

Just go and get a reprint at that point. The DEC will reimburse you if you have to do that. Thats a ticket waiting to happen IMO.

I bought a lifetime license for my son when he was 2 years old for $250 and a lifetime bow for $125. He's 25 now and has already gotten my money's worth! LOL

When I got mine I did the math, at the price structure at that time I figured it would be 10-11 years before I broke even.  I'm somewhere around 15 years now. 

What I don't like about the lifetime license is they look the same. (my name and same number) It's been a tradition to hang them on the cabin wall (have them back to 1958), but with the new thermo printed things and the same number every year, that end of the collection is pretty boring. lol

It just took the state two plus weeks to register my car, so my hunting license should be here by turkey season. Hopefully not the spring season.

The licenses are Bright Yellow this year ..... Got my Bow/Ml and Doe Tags at the Town clerk

Anyone get another envelope later with more license pieces? My license and tags came a couple weeks ago and then yesterday I got another envelope with the reporting panels and label panels that I already had, no tags, and the dates are changed from 9/1/20 - 8/31/21 to 8/10/20 - 8/01/21? It does have one more panel showing I registered for HIP though.

I'm still waiting for my lifetime card. Guess they're gonna have to reprint anyways when I order up my lifetime muzzleloader in a few weeks
